Using WAR

These terms apply to worthareplay.com and its features. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it. Our privacy policy explains how we handle information.

Ratings, fixtures and spoilers

WAR is a match drama rating intended to help you choose what to watch. Fan WAR presents replay value from a team’s perspective. Ratings are informational assessments, not guarantees that you will enjoy a match, predictions or betting advice.

Fixtures, results, ratings and other information depend on third-party data and processing. They may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect, and schedules can change. A Live label reflects scheduled timing and does not confirm that a match is currently being played. We aim to hide results until you reveal them, but headlines, images and third-party videos can contain spoilers.

Accounts and preferences

Provide accurate registration details, keep your password secure and use only accounts you are entitled to access. Tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. You can browse as a guest; guest preferences are tied to your browser and may be lost if its storage is cleared. Account preferences can be managed in Your WAR.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security issues or legal requirements. You can stop using the service and delete your account through Your WAR.

Highlights and third-party content

Embedded highlights, league and club marks, and other third-party material remain the property of their respective owners. Their inclusion does not imply endorsement or affiliation. Videos are hosted by their providers and may be unavailable, removed or restricted by location. Their own terms apply when you use their services.

Do not bypass geographic or access restrictions, redistribute content without permission, or use WAR to infringe someone else’s rights. Contact us about material you believe infringes your rights, identifying the content and the basis of your request.

WAR scores and intellectual property

As between you and Worth A Replay, all intellectual-property rights in the WAR and Fan WAR rating systems, scoring software, original scoring methodology and documentation, rating displays, original score compilations, branding and site content belong to Worth A Replay’s operator, R A Hitchin, or its licensors, to the extent those rights exist under applicable law. We reserve all rights not expressly granted in these terms. Access to the site or its scores does not transfer ownership or grant a licence to our underlying technology or branding.

You may view and use WAR and Fan WAR scores for your own personal, non-commercial purposes and share links to our pages. Except for this permission or uses that applicable law permits and that cannot lawfully be restricted, you must obtain our prior written permission before copying, republishing, distributing, selling, licensing or commercially using our scores, rating displays or score compilations, including in another website, app, publication, data feed or service. Attribution alone does not grant permission.

Without our prior written permission, you must not scrape, harvest or systematically extract our scores, build or distribute a database of them, or use our scores or software to reverse-engineer or reproduce the WAR or Fan WAR scoring system, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be restricted. Do not remove ownership notices or use our names, logos or rating displays in a way that suggests an endorsement, partnership or official WAR rating without our approval. These terms do not claim ownership of underlying match facts, third-party data or third-party content, or exclusive copyright in an individual numerical score or an abstract idea. They do not limit any statutory rights or exceptions that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Fair use of the site

Use WAR lawfully. Do not attempt to access another person’s account, bypass security controls, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code or overload it through automated requests.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep WAR useful and available, but do not promise uninterrupted access, complete coverage or error-free information. Features and data sources may change. You are responsible for deciding how to use the information.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and liability for loss caused by reliance on inaccurate or unavailable information, service interruptions or third-party content. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable New Zealand consumer protections.

Changes and questions

We may update these terms as the service changes. The revision date appears above; updated terms apply to use after they are published. New Zealand law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory rights that apply where you live. Contact us with questions or concerns so we can try to resolve them.
